I f*cking love Bloomington!

Yes. Yes. Yes. Bike polo has finally reached our small midwestern city! Last fall when I was living out in Seattle I saw some kids playing polo underneath the I-5 near Green Lake. My interest was piqued, but I never had time to play. Springtime brought a new job, though back in good ol' Bloomington, Indiana. The past few years I always had trouble finding people to ride with, let alone enough for something as grand as bike polo... better late than never!

This past Thursday night marks three weeks since the original meetup, but its actually the fourth (or fifth?) time most of us have played. Numbers have been increasing every night! People are talking and there is plenty of interest floating around.

I started this blog because I wasn't sure if we had one going yet. But we do. Edwin (or Rinzin) already beat me to it and started http://hardcourtbloomingtonbikepolo.blogspot.com So I'll leave the official information stream to those guys and instead use this bit of real estate for my own unnecessary commentary. Maybe this'll get some use, maybe not.
