DIY Toestrap Doublizers

Toe clips made for single cages have no support for a second set of straps, so making a fabric "brace" of sorts helps keep the straps in place and your foot cinched in. Since I switched over to double strap cages these doublizers aren't as necessary, but I like the extra support nevertheless.

The process is ridiculously simple. Get some nylon webbing/strapping at your local hardware store. Fold it in thirds, pin it, and sew the hell outta it.

Obviously this has been done before, and in different ways. But this was cheap and works for me. Many thanks to my good friend Kim for doing the actual sewing! I owe ya tree or two.
