Adidas x Portland polo shoes!

Check these out! Portland Pete (formerly COMO Pete) posted this sneak peak of the polo specific shoes they designed with Adidas. Now i'm not very keen on anyone who tries to commericalize polo (this video and try not to vomit on your keyboard) but this looks like a quality product that player would actually use. Not to mention most of us have rocked Sambas since we were little shits playing soccer. Apparently these are still a proto-type but boy do i hope they actually make a production model! I'd buy em, especially if i decide to give clipless a go next year.

    IF YOU GO CLIPLESS?! Its the way of the future! Also I don't think that a semi flexible sole for a polo shoe is a good thing, a stiff sole means better energy transfer making you faster, and that would compound over a weekend of polo, oh say at like a tournament.

  4. I bought a bike polo mallet from a Miami based company called Malletheadz ( http://twitter.com/#!/Malletheadz ). The mallet is amazing! I will never make my own again. And they're affordable too. AND I can't believe I got a LIFETIME WARRANTY with it. OMG! And they gave me a free mallet grip for the handle, I LOVE IT! They are so durable and strong! I used to have one of those mallets with all those holes in them. They suck! I broke them over and over again. And In order to fix It I had to buy a new one. NOW, the only thing I buy are the heads. They go in so easy. Actually, I don’t even buy them. I get them FREE! It’s part of the lifetime warranty.
