My good friend from Fort Wayne, Rob Goodin, has been working with metal his whole life and has recently put his skills towards a slew of polo-specific products. This is the custom brake booster that he made for myself and the other Tree City boys, Travis and Evan. Suffice to say- I FUCKING LOVE THEM!
At 7mm thick they're beefy as hell and since they're aluminum they're surprisingly light. The horseshoe shape actually helps protect the brake arms/springs from contact (in addition to providing good luck). The real advantage comes from preventing the flex of the brake bosses when you're really braking hard. Ever since i put them on there's been a noticable improvement in braking power. And as a bonus i haven't had to true my wheel as much since i don't have to run the pads as close. Plus he can custom cut up to 7 letters... so obviously i choose the word closest to my heart- "INDIANA". Did i mention he can do them in both polished or matte? (mine is the polished version)
For $40 he can do the same for you- hit him up at email@example.com and get 'em while they're hot.
